The Perry Joslin Project![]() When I started the Perry Joslin Project, I guess I really had no idea what was in store for me. It helped that I met Lee Levin and Dan Warner. There is truth to the Bachman-Turner Overdrive tune," . . . surround yourself with the right bunch of guys . . . " The Perry Joslin Project would not exist if it was not for the talent and advice these two have provided me. I am eternally grateful. We have been together now since 2001, and have played across the country at Jazz clubs, Festivals, Corporate events and small private venues. We're on the radio on most Smooth Jazz Stations, and we are all over the internet, which is in itself very entertaining . . . who are they talking about??? We have also released the first cd, Perry Joslin Project, in 2003, which many of you currently own or have heard on the radio at sometime, or seen us play live. ![]() Finally we are about to release the second cd and we have some notable additions to the lineup. Somewhere along the way we also have developed a following for our Jazz Yatra Band, which is a nine piece Indian Classical music/Jazz fusion band. We hope that there will be a new release of the Jazz Yatra Band soon as well. This stuff is wild! So, as you can see, we have been busy. I tell you all this, as this is the dream. There is nothing like the dream. If you want something bad enough, there is always a way to succeed. I don't think I was ever supposed to be doing anything else. I know this because there are no fears or regrets that are associated usually with making a bad decision. I remember someone once saying to me don't ever be one of those people who later in life say, "I wish I ... ", I wish for nothing. I actually go and do it. How Unique! I think at times I was too stupid to know any better. However, here we are. If you get nothing else out of the Perry Joslin Project, remember this is the embodiment of dreams that do come to life. We all have dreams. Not bad for a dreamer, eh? I look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming shows . . . You can keep track of our tour schedule and notices of the latest release via the website. I appreciate the continued support! Perry |
